Sanford Elementary was put on lockdown Thursday as police rush to reports of a gunshot by a suicidal man. Fire and EMS vehicles staged just down the road at the Colony Friends Church and waited for word from police.
Jeffery R Fagg of Newport News was arrested on charges of DWI 1st offence with a BAC of .08-.14%. P.W. Polansky was listed as the arresting officer. Jeffery is 54 years old, 6'3" tall and weighs 220lbs.
