Man employed with Pediatrics at Oyster Point arrested for Sexual Battery on a victim < 13
Bob Dessoffy has been arrested and was booked into the Newport News city jail Friday morning after turning himself in. He has been charged with AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY: VICTIM <13 YRS Z.E. MACDONALD was listed as the arresting officer.

6/18/25 1:00 AM EST Bob's preliminary hearing looks to be contuined until 07/31/2025. That could indicate Bob's lawyer, Timothy Clancy intends to have the case(s) dropped. It could also mean Bob wants to delay and buy as much time as he can which would only cause a longer period of severe stress.
If the judge finds there is enough evidence to take the case(s) to trial, the state would likely offer a plea deal. Neither side wants to put the victim on the witness stand, especially at that age, you should never victimize the victim twice. The officer should have already interviewed the child and an audio and/or video of that interview should exist. It doesn't take much to get the truth out and/or easily detect dishonesty from a kid and that's a skill all police are trained on. For now, we have to assume the arresting officer Zachary Ericksen Macdonald did his job correctly. Money also plays a huge role in this case and Bob has plenty of it. His lawyer Timothy Clancy and his law firm all know most everyone at the courthouse including the judges, some very well.
6/10/25 1:30 PM EST We were denied public records and had our FOIA request turned down due to our request to remain anonymous which is guaranteed to us by the 4th amendment of the US Constitution. (FOIA stands for Freedom of Information Act) Why would they need to know our identity? Maybe they want to retaliate? Bob's legal team might know someone in the jail they go to daily and want to know who we are? Who is the Sheriff protecting? Could it be their failure of the jail to protect Bob? These are all valid reasons why the Freedom of Information Act says we can remain anonymous, to prevent even the chance of retaliation which the state of Virginia is failing to do.
The sheriff was probably only going to provide limited information anyway and enjoy playing these type of games with the people they work for. The funny part is, if you goto the Sheriff FOIA page at the top is says "The Newport News Sheriff’s Office supports transparency" - That's a LIE

5/23/25 4:30 AM EST Bob was released last night and is now a free "man". The preliminary hearing on June 27th is his next scheduled court date. The purpose of preliminary hearings are to determine if there's enough evidence to move forward. Bob's legal team will be FIGHTING to have this case dismissed. If the arresting officer Z.E. Macdonald (Zachary Ericksen Macdonald) did his job correctly, the judge will set a trial date, otherwise Bob would walk.
5/22/25 4:30 PM EST Bob may have been given a bond. Court records still say bond hearing was continued but many times the site doesn't fully update until later in the day. New unconfirmed information along with other tips we've gotten the past couple weeks, the strange way he was removed from the inmate logs and our visit to the jail (seem to) indicate Bob was indeed served some INMATE JUSTICE! Check back soon should get some information later tonight if this is true.
5/21/25 7 AM EST Bob has changed lawyers. Timothy Clancy is now listed as Robert's attorney. Bond hearing is scheduled for tomorrow @ 10:30 AM. If granted bond, Bob could be released as early as tomorrow afternoon, otherwise his next scheduled court appereance is the Preliminary hearing June 27, 2025.

Bob sold his car wash business for $1.5 Million only to go work as secretary in a children's clinic was just charged with AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY: VICTIM <13 YRS.

Tamara Dessoffy is also listed as "Owner at Oyster Point Car Wash" which show connection between her and her husband. Tamara F Dessoffy appears to be an AKA for Tammy Flint Dessoffy. Two arrest warrants were posted on Bob Dessoffy Wednesday for having sexual relations with a pre teen child.
Robert is the previous owner of the Sparkle Flex Car Wash located at 519 Oyster Point Rd in the city of Newport News and has been charged with AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY: VICTIM <13 YRS. The warrants for Robert were for having indecent liberties with a child by a parent and aggravated sexual battery: Victim < 13 Years Old.
