Homicide at 9600 Greensprint Drive

On Monday, May 19, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Dallas police responded to a call for service in the 9600 block of Greensprint Drive. The preliminary investigation determined that John Faulkner, 82, shot 81-year-old Sharon Faulkner before dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, and both died at the location.
The suspect and victim were known to one another.
