| ARCHIVE SHERIFF ASSAULT AGG ZONE 44 DV PASS ON AFFIDAVIT D1 and D2 have been involved in a romantic relationship and have been residing together as a family unit although they are currently breaking up D2 returned to their residence today to begin gathering her belongings when she and D1 began arguing During the argument D2 struck D1 in the face before grabbing D1 by her neck and squeezing which briefly prevented D1 from being able to breathe D1 sustained minor injuries which did not require medical attention After the physical altercation D2 left the residence and returned approximately one hour later with V1 and V2 accompanying her D1 refused to answer the door at which time D2 V1 and V2 began knocking on windows After several minutes D2 V1 and V2 began preparing to leave the residence They were outside of the backyard s privacy fence when D1 exited the rear of the home and held a handgun over the fence pointing toward V1 and V2 D1 then fired one round in the direction of V1 and V2 who then left the scene and contacted law enforcement Upon the arrival of deputies D1 was contacted several homes down with the firearm concealed in her pants D1 admitted to discharging the firearm and the shell casing was located D1 was arrested for aggravated assault against V1 and V2 Deputies spoke with D2 on the phone who confirmed she was on scene and had invited V1 and V2 there D2 became uncooperative and refused to provide her location or return to the scene A 707 pass on affidavit was completed charging D2 with Domestic Violence Strangulation Director Quann and DCF were notified of the incident Deltona April 10, 2023 4:46 pm |

| ARCHIVE SHERIFF ABUSE NEGLECT ZONE 32 JUVENILES Juveniles V1 V2 V3 and O1 and D1 are staying in a tent at an Ormond Beach campground Deputies responded for a well being check for the children When deputies arrived on scene they noticed the children and O1 had a severe ringworm infection During the investigation it was learned D1 is the legal mother of V1 V2 and V3 and O1 is the mother of D1 who has no legal obligations for any of them only D1 does Shortly after deputies arrived D1 arrived on scene and advised she went to seek treatment for the infection in the early morning hours of 10 8 22 but did not take any of her children for treatment All parties were transported to the hospital for medical purposes At the conclusion of the investigation D1 was ultimately arrested for three counts of child neglect and possession of fentanyl Director Quann was notified of the incident and DCF responded to take the children into protective custody Watch commander was also on scene OB October 11, 2022 10:11 am |
