Two New Arrests at Kiln Creek Underage Brothel: Auto Mechanic & Father Charged
Two more men were arrested at the home on Holbrook Dr in the Kiln Creek section of Newport News early this morning. 44 year old Edward Lawrence Claypool of Yorktown and 63 year old Luther Edward Hyatt of Gates North Carolina were both booked into the jail Sunday morning.

Update: 2/8/2026 5:30 AM EST A fourth man has been arrested at the home on Holbrook Dr. 21 year old Nicholas Aaron Jones was just booked into the jail. View Jones mugshot at bottom of page.
All three men are charged with Indecent Liberties with a Child < 15 years of age
New arrests at the home in Kiln Creek which was the same location Christian Mitchell was arrested two days ago on similar charges. In addition, Luther Edward Hyatt was also taken into custody at the home on Holbrook Dr.
Claypool is currently employed at Southern Chevrolet on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News acording to this Linked In page and this Facebook profile page . Claypool has two high school age daughters
