Man Tries to Purchase Kid in Kiln Creek for Prostitution

Mitchell remains in jail on a no bond hold, next scheduled court date is March 4th for the preliminary hearing

UPDATE 2/8/2026 Three new arrests at the Holdbrook Drive address in Kiln Creek Mitchell remains in custody on a no bond hold as detectives likely search his phone and possibly home. This appears to have been some type of a possible police sting performed over the weekend, check back for updates this is a breaking story

While this crime allegally took place in Newport News, Mitchell resides in Virginia Beach

Additionally, he is charged with soliciting or attempting to solicit prostitution from a minor under 16 years of age, as well as indecent liberties with a child under 15 years of age.
