SUV SLAMS into Advance Auto Parts in Newport News Saturday Morning Destroying Everything in it's Path
WATCH the exclusive footage of this wild scene as a driver reported to have had a medical emergency which caused them to crash into front of the Advance Auto Parts store in Denbigh this morning.
PressWhatMatters It's Saturday morning and a youth group is having a car wash in the parking lot of the Advance Auto located at 14346 Warwick Blvd in Newport News. Shortly before 11 AM, an unknown driver slammed into the glass wall of the building and wound up in the middle of the store, smashing everying in it's path.
Reports indicate the driver had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital just as Police Ping arrived on scene. It's fortunate nobody inside the store was injured and the kids car wash was on the other side of the building, away from the danger.
Pete's Auto Services of Denbigh responded quickly and worked hard in the heat to safely pull the damaged vehicle out of the store and onto her flatbed. Pete's is well known in the area and has been in business for decades.
The next day the store was closed and boarded up.
