Ohio Man Arrested in Virginia on Warrants for Computer Crimes Involving Minors

William Gump was originally arrested June 23, 2025 in Braxton West Virginia on a fugitive from justice hold which appears to have been for his warrants in Newport News issued a couple of weeks earlier. 

Charges:

• 5 counts of Indecent Liberties with a child under 15 years old
• 3 counts of Proposing Sex via Computer - victim under 15 years
• 2 counts of Sexual Offence with a Minor via Computer

Dates the crimes took place are 03/24/2025, 03/25/2025 & 04/03/2025 

DOB Dec 20, 1990

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 180lbs 

Police Ping has located a possible street for Gump on West Taggart St in West Palestine, Ohio. In addition, we found this article regarding a William Gump, written earlier this year. The article claims Mr Gump was charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly hitting a woman with a carpenter’s level and attacking another women on May 5 2025.
