The OFFICIAL Police Ping Guide on What to do if you have an Arrest Warrant

With all the countless new laws these corrupt politicians come up with each year, it's even more likely you'll one day face a warrant for your arrest. In Florida alone, over 120 new laws took effect on July 1, 2025. Every state in the country is a police state and it seems they want us all to go through the system at least once in our lifetime to keep us in compliance.

The OFFICIAL Police Ping Guide on What to do if you have an Arrest Warrant

If you suspect you may have a warrant issued for your arrest or already have, it's important to stay calm, you'll get through this and if you're young and it's your first time through the system, it can be scary but not to worry as long as you follow this important guide.

First of all, verify you have a warrant. While we cover several locations (top menu), we don't have them all so you'll want to goto Google and search for the county/city you suspect you could have a problem in.

Some departments don't offer online lookups, they want you to call so they can hopefully get your phone number, etc. Get a friend to call for you, you can even use the contact link at the top of the page and ask us to, we're more than happy to help just make sure you're not involved in any sexual related crimes, we will just ignore your message.

So you've now confirmed you have a warrant. Stress is going to hit and will only get worse the longer you delay. You're going to have to turn yourself in, no matter what you did, with the Flock Cameras on every block and technology at the level it is, even if you make it a week or months, the stress is going to get worse and turning yourself in VS getting caught is going to help with both your bond and final verdict. Unless you're some kind of survivalist that can hunt deer and stay off the grid, you're going to eventually get caught and being on the run is no way to live.

You may feel the need to try and talk your way out of it. If a warrant has already been issued there's nothing you can really do or say to get rid of it other than go through the process and plead your case in front of a judge. Regardless if you're guilty or not, don't make any statements.Your going to be nervous and could easily slip up and say something incriminating. They know your scared and will use that to try and trick you into giving up some information.

Before you turn yourself in - Stay Low Key & DON'T DELAY

  • Prepare for the worse but hope for the best. Get your affairs in order, pre pay your important bills if you can. Jails like to hold you for anything they can think of (depending on the charge(s)) so prepare for at least a week, the amount of time you're held really depends on your charge(s). If they can find a reason like "public saftey" or a "threat to others", they can easily put you on a no bond status pending a bond hearing.
  • Call a lawyer. Most all will consult you for free over the phone. Each county is different and a local lawyer can tell you what to expect.
  • Call a bondsman. Some will be able to pre arrange bond for you, a local bonds man can give you some tips on what to expect,.
  • Take some cash. The jail will likely put the cash in your account which you'll want to have for the canteen/commissary.
  • Phone Numbers. One of the few things you'll be able to take in the jail with you is paperwork. Write down any phone numbers and/or email address you may need. Some jails offer tablets connected to the (limited) internet so the inmates can communicate via email which in many cases is cheaper vs phone.
  • Notify your job what's going on. This can end up being a hard decision depending on your charges and other factors, just keep in mind as long as you don't talk to anyone before you turn yourself in, they haven't had a chance to fire you yet and you can honstly say you are employed. A stable job looks good to both the judge and the bondsman.
  • Don't Get Caught When you're ready go directly to the jail and turn yourself in. If you get arrested on the street, that gives the cops an opportunity to try and get information out of you, it's going to look worse when the magistrate determines your bond and you'll be taking a ride in the back of the squad car.

When you get to the jail...

  • Do not discuss anything about your case. It's fine to speak just stay calm and be polite, most all the cops/deputies have body cameras so watch what you say.
  • You can be Fuck the Police all day long, but when you walk into that jail after an arrest, you'll want to remain polite and realize the deputies or correctional officers you first come in contact with are the ones that determine where you are housed.
  • If you act hard, you're going to make enemies. If you act soft, you're going to get taken advantage of. Stay in the middle, most everyone else in there with you are equally stressed out, you have to watch what you say and who you interact with.
  • If you identify another inmate as having a sex related crime, especially if it involves a minor, find another bed, find another friend. Don't be loud about it, just keep your distance, the other inmates will figure it out eventually.
  • I would encourage you to make as many friends as you can Most of the other inmates you come in contact with are going to be decent people, but there's always one or a few that have something to prove and/or little to loose. Look for the fellow inmates that like to talk a lot, they're gonna make everyone's time go by faster. Get involved with group sessions, anything that can get you out of your cell or day room you should take advantage of.
  • Be respectful of fellow inmates, makes sure you clean up after yourself, many jails require inmates to make their bed and keep their belongings organized. Some guards and deputies will penalize the entire cell block for a single inmate not folowing the rules which is exactly what causes fights, yet they do it anyway so be warned

If this will be your first time through the system, it's definitely a learning experience. If you already know how the process works, you also know in a majority of the cases, the process is the punishment.
