Man Arrested for Multiple Indecent Exposure Cases

Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have arrested a 57-year-old man after identifying him as the suspect in multiple indecent exposure incidents dating back to 2015.

Following the original press release, detectives received an anonymous tip that led to the identification of Arthur Mobley, 57, of Fairfax, as the suspect responsible for multiple indecent exposure cases in Oakton and Chantilly.

Through their investigation, detectives linked Mobley to four separate incidents that occurred between 2015 and 2025 in the 9500 block of Courthouse Road in Oakton and the 4600 block of Stonecroft Boulevard in Chantilly. The offenses included multiple counts of indecent liberties and an obscene sexual display.

Mobley was arrested and charged with Obscene Sexual Display and five counts of Indecent Liberties. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was held on no bond.

Detectives continue to investigate his potential involvement in additional cases.

Detectives Seek Help Identifying Indecent Exposure Suspect

Sully Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for multiple indecent exposure cases in Chantilly.

On March 30, 2025, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., it was reported to detectives that an unknown man exposed himself to multiple victims near the 4600 block of Stonecroft Blvd in Chantilly.

Preliminarily, detectives believe this suspect may be responsible for similar incidents shown below:

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, thin build, with light gray hair.
