NO KINGS DAY 2.0 is a nationwide protest against President Donald Trump and the recent layoffs of government employees which have only grown since the last event in June.

Police Ping was at the last No Kings Day protest in Newport News which had a surprising turnout of protesters. According to the upcoming events official webpage., the protest location has changed to the Intersection Jefferson Avenue & Oyster Point Road.
On Saturday October 18, 2025, some citizens of Newport News will once again gather for what may be their final protest against the "oppressive rule of President Donald Trump" and the dealings of the DODGE corporation. Dubbed "No Kings Day Protest," this event is a culmination of years of frustration and anger towards the powers that be.
The last protest began with a bang, as protesters held signs and chants decrying the alleged injustices of the Trump administration with the help of DODGE. As the protest continued, more and more people joined in, their numbers swelling to the dozens.
