Man in Custody After Domestic-Related Fatal Assault in Chantilly
Fair Oaks Police District – A man is in custody after fatally assaulting his wife in Chantilly last night.
On May 24 at 7:48 p.m., officers responded to a domestic incident inside a residence in the 16000 block of Bromall Court in Chantilly. The suspect reported that he had assaulted and killed his wife. Officers located Kim White, 32, of Chantilly suffering from trauma to the upper body. She was declared deceased at the scene.

Detectives determined that Alexander Towne, 32, of Chantilly, fatally assaulted his wife and remained at the scene until officers arrived.
Towne was taken into custody and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Second-Degree Murder. He was held on no bond.
Detectives continue to conduct interviews and process evidence recovered from the scene to determine the circumstances that led up to the homicide.
