Detectives Investigate Fatal Crash in Clifton

Sully Police District – Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Clifton.

Yesterday at 3:24 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 11000 block of Chapel Road in Clifton involving a 2005 Toyota Highlander that left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, Alexander Aiden Richmond, 18, of Clifton, was declared deceased on the scene. Preliminary, detectives do not believe alcohol to be a factor, and speed is still under investigation.
