Traffic Crash

On March 25, 2025 at approximately 4:52pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North Walnut Street and East Portland Street for a two vehicle crash. Investigation determined David Berrios was operating the blue Toyota eastbound on East Portland Street, approaching the intersection. Kamilys Gonzales-Rodriguez was operating the black Hyundai northbound on North Walnut Street before making a left turn onto East Portland Street. Upon making the turn, Rodriguez entered the oncoming lane of travel and struck Berrios in a head-on collision. No injuries were reported, however, both vehicles required towing from the scene as a result of the damage they sustained.
