Fatal Stabbing at Phish Concert in Hampton: Police MUTE

A second stabbing has claimed another life Saturday, just a couple miles (1.86 miles) away from the crime scene at the Hampton coliseum where the popular band Phish was performing the first of three sold out shows. As city leaders scramble to cover up the rampant crime and corruption that has taken over, they still refuse to provide any information on the victim or suspect they claimed to have detained.

UPDATE 9/23/25 6:00 AM EST  No word on what happened or any charges from Hampton PD, however a man was arraigned in a Hampton courtroom on Monday. Alonzo Morris Warren of Hampton was arrested for robbery: using force and fleeing from law enforcement. The alleged crimes took place the same day of the Phish concert. Its not known if this arrest is related, however Warren has an extensive criminal history in the city of Hampton with similar charges.

Police have already released information in the second fatal stabbing on Westbriar Drive, hours apart and just a couple miles from the Phish concert incident. Codey Mitchell Evans (32) of Hampton was charged with murder and child abuse.

UPDATE 9/22/25 4:30 AM EST No new information, Hampton PD loves to play political games, they know the subjects/victims names and exactly what happened, however their handlers won't allow them to release the information until their money generating weekend concert is over. The incident simply doesn't fit their narrative. Rumors and unconfirmed reports say 3 locals tried to rob a vendor and the vendor fought back just a couple hours after the festival began.

UPDATE 9/21/25 6:15 AM EST Lots of !!unconfirmed reports!!!  saying "men" were walking through "shakedown" which is the area vendors are set up with tents and trailers offering food and other items for sale. !!unconfirmed reports!!!  say the men were attempting to steal from vendors and using mace as a weapon. !!unconfirmed reports!!!  Say one of the men was the homicide victim and other two were stabbing victims !!unconfirmed reports!!! this could be a case of self defence !!unconfirmed reports!!!

UPDATE 9/21/25 4:15 AM EST Looks like the city had another stabbing/homicide just down the road a few hours after the incident at the coliseum. There's a good reason the police are being tight lipped on the investigation, they know Phish gets national media coverage and want to desperately hide the 3rd world slum the city has become due to failed Liberal policies and massive DEI hiring of unqualified police and city servants being paid 4 times + the average salary for the area.

Here's one reason the city is apparently broke and unable to provide proper security for the event...

  • City Manager: Mary B. Bunting, $253,306/y
  • City Attorney: Cheran C. Ivery, $215,000/y
  • Commonwealth's Attorney: Anton A. Bell, $203,864/y
  • Police Chief: Mark Talbot, $192,816/y
  • Director, Community Development: Terry P. O'Neill, $191,385/y
  • Commissioner Of Revenue: Ross Mugler, $187,376/y
  • Assistant City Manager: Brian D. Deprofio, $182,582/y

And let's not forget the benefits, pensions and the ability to break laws without consequences most all city officials utilize.

UPDATE 9/20/25 1:15 PM EST We're learning more about the stabbing, a few (unconfirmed) Reddit posts and an unverified source claim this was the result of a man spraying people or a person with mace wearing some type of mask. Police have yet to release any more information about the incident or the "possible suspect" they claim to have detained. The department and all surrounding are well known for keeping the narrative inline with their donors.

Police Ping will be following this case and running a full investigation on any possible suspects and/or victims when the names are released.  Be sure to follow us on Youtube, Rumble, X and streaming 24/7 on your Roku device for the latest updates.

The stabbing apparently took place just outside the entrance to the coliseum where vendors typically set up tents offering various types of foods, crafts and other specialily items for sale.

UPDATE 9/20/25 6:15 AM EST Hampton PD Fatal stabbing near Phish concert (1000 block of Coliseum Drive)  - one dead and two injured

From Hampton PD...

Hampton police are currently investigating a  "maiming incident" near the Hampton Coliseum Friday evening where Phish, a popular rock, funk, bluegrass & folk band with a huge dedicated following of  both young and old was holding a 3 day concert/festival

Phish held their first concert at the Hampton Coliseum back in 1995 which was packed with devoted fans who follow the band all over the country and are know for their alternate but peaceful lifestyle. Dubbed the "Mothership" by fans due to the unique spaceship-like exterior, the Hampton Coliseum is a well known favorite of the band and has been featured in albums and live recordings which have helped the band grow over 30+ years and millions of followers.

While many details are still unknown about the incident last night, reports indicate the crime took place just feet from the main entrance to the Coliseum near or in the "tent city" full of fans camped out in the area.

As with previous events dating back to the Grateful Dead who also played the coliseum to a similar fan base dating back to 1979, tickets to the events are generally sold out and lodging is no different. Visitors to the city during these events without lodging or vehicles tend to wander the surrounding area between shows and rest where ever they find a spot.

The mayor of the city has designated the final day of the three day festival as "Phish Day"

With thousands expected, issues are always expected and the Hampton PD will have extra staff on hand to hopefully act quickly in the event of a situation. The parton's are generally extremely friendly and happy to be at the concert, however there's always a few that have bad intentions or simply having a bad day.

Arrests are common at these massive shows and will likely generate the city some much needed revenue which will be spent on raises for city leaders, more Flock cameras and more DEI hires. The majority of the arrests will likely be for drugs. Cannabis is legal in the state however sales are not. Smoke shops in the area are common targets for police looking for illegal Cannabis sales.
