Dallas Police Employees Terminated

The following employees were terminated during disciplinary hearings on May 29, 2025, with Chief Comeaux:

Research Specialist Patsy Evans, Operational Technology Unit, was terminated for Unlawful Food Stamp Use – greater than $200, a third-degree felony. Research Specialist Evans had been with the Department since September 2012.

Supervisor Sheri Brown, Records Unit, was terminated for being arrested for Unlawful Food Stamp Use – greater than $200, a third-degree felony. Supervisor Brown had been with the Department since April 2004.

Sergeant Matthew Terry, #8915, Central Patrol Division, was terminated for being untruthful to a supervisor, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger, a State Jail Felony. Sergeant Terry had been with the Department since September 2006.
