Organized Retail Theft Suspects Arrested

On Friday, March 14, 2025, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) received information that numerous retail stores in the 1600 block of N. Perris Boulevard in the city of Perris and 18000 block of Collier Avenue in the city of Lake Elsinore, were the victims of organized retail theft. Between December 1, 2024 and March 10, 2025, the suspects entered retail stores numerous times and stole over $5,000.00 worth of products.

With the assistance of the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) and Perris Station Investigations Bureau, RBST served search warrants on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in the 12000 block of Sunnymeadows Drive and 23000 block of Elyce Court in Moreno Valley. During the service of the search warrants, additional evidence was located. The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Keith Thomas and 24-year-old Nathan Ramirez, both residents of Moreno Valley. Both were detained prior to the service of the search warrants.

Thomas and Ramirez were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for burglary, grand theft, and organized retail theft. Thomas was also charged with committing a felony while on bail.
