Man Arrested for Sexual Battery in Retail Store
Reston Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Abuse Squad have arrested a man after he sexually assaulted a victim inside a retail store in Reston.
On April 14, at 1:43 p.m., officers responded to a sex offense case at a retail store in the 12100 block of Sunset Hills Road in Reston. Officers learned while the victim was inside the store, a male suspect touched the victim inappropriately.
Officers located and arrested Jonathan David Bavon, 24, of no fixed address hiding inside of a clothing rack inside the store. Bavon was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery, Simple Assault, and Obstruction of Justice. He was also served a warrant on an unrelated incident. He is being held on no bond.
