Homicide at 4300 S Malcom X Boulevard

On April 20, 2025, at about 3:35 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of south Malcolm X Boulevard. The preliminary investigation determined that two victims had been shot at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Kamron Taque, 18, to the hospital, where he died. The other was transported to the hospital by private vehicle in stable condition and later released. This is an ongoing investigation, documented under case number 055233-2025.
