Update 4/15/2025: On April 14, 2025, the Dallas Police Fugitive Unit arrested Alton Williams, 25, in connection with this case. He is charged with Murder.
Original Post: On April 13, 2025, at about 10:20 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 400 block of N. Harwood Street.
The preliminary investigation determined that a man had been shot.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the man to a local hospital, where he later died.
The man’s identity is not being released pending next of kin notifications.
This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 051793-2025.
