On April 19, 2025, at about 1:50 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3900 block of east Overton Road. The preliminary investigation determined an unknown suspect shot a 15-year-old male at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the juvenile victim to the hospital, where he died. The victim’s identity will not be released due to his age. This ongoing investigation will be documented under case number 054696-2025.
