Reporting Supervisor: Sergeant William Pratt
File # Multiple
Details:
On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant service operation in the city of Temecula for subjects previously arrested for driving under the influence who either failed to appear in court or were not meeting the terms of their court-ordered probation.
Nine subjects were arrested and booked into Cois M. Byrd Detention Center for outstanding DUI warrants. Three of those subjects were also wanted on other criminal charges.
“We don’t want subjects re-offending and endangering the public,” Deputy Opice said. “The goal is also to make sure they are receiving the help and guidance they need to keep them from offending in the future.”
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
