The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office/Norco Sheriff’s Office will be conducting Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Saturation Enforcement Operation
City of Norco, California – On Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office/Norco Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and overall traffic safety operation within the Norco city limits.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that impaired driving is not just from alcohol. Some prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs may interfere with driving. Always follow directions for use and read warning labels about driving. While medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal, driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal.
Drivers caught driving impaired and charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that driving under the influence is not only illegal, but also extremely dangerous.
Funding for this program is provided to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
