BATTERY AGG ZONE 23 D1 Jerome Ellis B M 02 09 1974 229 S Clara Ave Deland Store employee Marsy s Law V1 reported he and D1 have been having disagreements at work V1 reported that he had a can of soda which he left unattended on the store counter V1 said when he came back to the can to take a drink it tasted like bleach V1 reviewed the store s video surveillance footage which showed D1 pouring bleach into V1 s soda can D1 also can be seen spitting into V1 s drink In an attempt to hide his crime D1 went into the manager s office and unplugged the video surveillance system Deputies contacted D1 who ultimately admitted to the offense D1 was charged with Poisoning Food or Water and Tampering with Evidence Case is closed by arrest
