EVENTS OF NOTE ZONE 42 Juvenile Deputies responded to Deltona Middle School regarding a shooting threat that was called into the front office The unknown juvenile caller stated that they were tired of bullying and they would be coming in 10 minutes to shoot the place up School administrators placed the school on lockdown while a search was conducted of the interior of the school by District 4 patrol West Volusia Narcotics Task Force and District 4 Motors Access to the outside was sealed with an outer perimeter with the assistance of District 6 deputies and Orange City PD officers No threats were found at the school and the lockdown was lifted Case is active to District 4 detectives for followup
