| 2500 9TH ROAD S. AT APPROXIMATELY 5:14 | MALICIOUS WOUNDING 2025-02230131 2500 block of 9th Road S. At approximately 5:14 p.m. on February 23 police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. The preliminary investigation indicates the male victim was sitting outside when the male suspect approached and engaged him in conversation during which the suspect allegedly displayed a knife and struck the victim with it causing a laceration. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation officers identified the suspect and obtained warrants for Malicious Wounding and Assault and Battery.
